Urgent Legal Funding
A pre-settlement funding company whose visitors arrive mid-crisis. The site had to answer eligibility, cost and timing before asking for anything.

Project overview
Urgent Legal Funding provides advances to claimants waiting on a case to close. Most people arrive referred by an attorney, under pressure, and reading on a phone.
The challenge
The site opened with lender terminology — non-recourse advance, lien position — before explaining in plain words what the service actually does.
The application lived on an unbranded third-party form, so people who clicked Apply often assumed they had left the site.
What we changed
- Rewrote the homepage around three questions in the order visitors ask them: am I eligible, what does it cost, how fast do I get funds.
- Rebuilt the application as a branded multi-step form with visible progress, so nobody leaves the domain mid-way.
- Moved attorney information onto its own page so the claimant journey stays uncluttered.
Conversion focus
- Eligibility criteria stated before the first form field, so people self-qualify instead of abandoning.
- One primary action repeated at each answer point rather than competing buttons.
- Compliance and privacy wording placed beside the submit button, where the hesitation happens.
Why this structure
People in a financial emergency will not read a brochure. The page has to confirm they qualify, then remove every reason to stop before the form is finished.
